South Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Medical Scientist Training Program (MD/PhD Program)
The NIH-designated Medical Scientist Training Program (STX-MSTP) at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ offers a cohesive dual degree MD-PhD training experience. We welcome a class of eight students each year, with each student bringing a unique perspective and research background to the table. Applicants for our program should have a passion for biomedical investigation as well as the desire to translate those biomedical discoveries into medical advances.

Requirements
- Applicants who wish to be considered for the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Long School of Medicine MD-only program must also complete the application for the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Medical and Dental Schools (TMDSAS)
Funding
The MSTP covers full costs for eight years of tuition, fees, and student health insurance. In addition to this, we provide a $35,000 annual stipend.
